METAR(METAR)
Definition
Meteorological Terminal Air Report, a standardized format for reporting current weather conditions at an airport. METARs are issued at regular intervals and include wind, visibility, ceiling, temperature, dewpoint, and altimeter setting.
Why METAR Matters for Pilots
