The FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate is the highest level of pilot certification. It is required to act as Pilot in Command of scheduled airline operations and represents the pinnacle of a professional pilot career in the United States.

Wymagania

  • Minimum age: 23 years old (21 for restricted ATP)
  • Class 1 medical certificate
  • 1,500 hours total time (1,000 for R-ATP with qualifying degree or military)
  • 500 hours cross-country time
  • 100 hours night time
  • 75 hours instrument time
  • 250 hours PIC time
  • Pass ATP Knowledge Test
  • Pass ATP practical test (usually combined with type rating)
