The EASA CPL allows commercial flying operations across Europe. Available through integrated (full-time, ab-initio) or modular (step-by-step) training paths. The integrated route includes frozen ATPL theory, while modular pilots can complete ATPL theory separately.

Minimum age: 18 years old
Class 1 medical certificate
200 hours total time (integrated) or 250 hours (modular)
100 hours PIC time (modular)
20 hours cross-country as PIC (modular)
All 13 ATPL theory exams passed (for frozen ATPL)
Instrument Rating (required for most commercial operations)
Pass CPL skill test

Complete flight training hours and exercises

Complete Multi-Engine Piston rating

Obtain Multi-Crew Cooperation certificate (MCC) for airline entry
