Guarantee & Refund Policy

If you don't pass, you don't pay. In writing.

These are the complete terms — no asterisks hiding anywhere else. Last updated August 15, 2026.

🛡️ FAA Pass Guarantee (PPL Complete)

Applies to the PPL Complete course. If you prepare with Rotate and fail your official FAA Private Pilot Airplane knowledge test, we will:

  • Refund your purchase in full, and
  • Reimburse your $175 FAA testing fee so your retake is on us.

What counts as “prepared with Rotate”

The guarantee exists for people who actually used the course — these thresholds are the same preparation we'd tell you to do anyway:

  • You completed at least two full 60-question exam simulations before your test date, and
  • At least one of them scored 80% or higher (the real pass mark is 70% — we want you above it with margin), and
  • You took the official FAA test within 90 days of your last study session on Rotate.

How to claim

Email hello@rotatepilot.com within 30 days of your test with your FAA Airman Knowledge Test Report (the sheet PSI gives you, which shows the result). We verify your simulation history on our side — no forms, no hoops. Refund plus the $175 reimbursement goes back to your original payment method within 5 business days.

🛡️ Part 107 Pass Guarantee (course & bundle)

Applies to the Part 107 Complete Test Prep and the Part 107 + Drone Business Bundle. Finish every lesson and score 85%+ on 3 full 60-question practice exams in the 30 days before your FAA test. If you still fail the test on your first attempt, we refund the course plus the $175 retake fee.

Separately: 30-day refund, no questions asked, if you haven't finished the course.

📦 Drone Business Kit — 60-day guarantee

The Drone Business Starter Kit (templates, scripts, and pricing guide) carries a 60-day money-back guarantee: if it doesn't help you land paid work within 60 days of purchase, email us and we refund it in full. We may ask which templates you used — only so we can make them better.

🔄 Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime from your account page — access continues to the end of the paid period, and you are never billed again.
  • Charged by mistake, or forgot to cancel? Email us within 7 days of the charge and we refund it, no questions asked.

Why we can offer this

The thresholds sit well above the FAA's 70% pass mark on purpose: someone who finishes the material and clears them on full practice exams right before the test is very likely ready. That is what lets us pay for the ones who still don't pass.
