Minimum Requirements
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Factorised hours — read this first | Wizz does not count logged hours directly for command minima. Hours in each category are multiplied by a factor from the table at onedoor.wizzair.com, and the factorised sum is what is tested against the minimum. Simulator hours are excluded throughout, and PIC means pilot in command — PICUS does not count. |

Assessment runs in four stages: pilot aptitude test and psychological assessment online, then a group exercise and personal interview in person at the Wizz Air Training Centre in Budapest — candidates pay their own travel and accommodation. A financial and background check on the candidate AND their guarantor closes the process. The TestAir 360 aptitude test carries a EUR 130 recruitment fee, which unlocks preparation material. A Class 1 medical and criminal record are not needed at assessment, only before enrolling. Successful candidates may choose a start date within a year. |

Before a human reads your application there is an aptitude battery, and candidates consistently report it as the heaviest cull — pace, not difficulty. You can practise it here for free: timed papers generated fresh each run, plus a divided-attention drill that measures how much your performance degrades under load. And when you reach the interview, there are 100 Wizz Air-specific questions with model answers, the red flags that fail each one, and the follow-ups the panel actually asks.
